It’s happening for real! Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh will kickstart wedding celebrations in Italy today with mehendi and sangeet functions as the family from both the bride and groom’s side come together. On November 14 and 15, Deepika-Ranveer will have tied the knot at Villa del Balbiano near Lake Como in Italy.
Now, another leaf from the card has been revealed. The card goes on to establish that the Bollywood couple is not big on wedding gifts and have requested all their guests to not indulge in same and instead donate in the charity they run. The card reads: “Directing all gifts in the form of a donation to the charity we support will be greatly appreciated.” This follows the details of the foundation, mentioning the name and how to go about it.
Doesn't this sound too much like what the British royal did at their wedding on May 19, 2018. Prince Harry and Meghan Markle also requested all guests to not give wedding gifts and donate to charities instead.

Along with this, it has been revealed that the wedding is strictly for those invited with outsiders not allowed. They have also reportedly insured the wedding, considering how expensive it must be for the families.
The couple flew to Italy with their parents on November 10, as they smiled and waved to the paps and fans gathered outside the Mumbai airport. They were seen dressed in an all-white ensemble, twinning all the way.
