Akshay Kumar has now booked yet another Independence Day for his film after releasing most of his recent work with a patriotic theme on the same date. Announcing the same, Akshay took to Twitter to reveal that his next film ‘Mission Mangal’ will come out to the theatres on August 15, 2019.

Interestingly, the slot was reserved for Karan Johar’s ‘Brahmastra’ starring Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt and Amitabh Bachchan in lead roles. Karan, it seems, moved the dates for Akshay. He later announced on Twitter that the release date has been pushed to Christmas, 2019. He wrote, “PART 1!!!! #BRAHMASTRA #CHRISTMAS2019 @DharmaMovies written and directed by AYAN MUKERJI”

Earlier, Akshay had shared a picture with the cast of his film ‘Mission Mangal’ that became a hit with his fans as soon as it was shared. The shoot for the film begins in mid-November. The women-centric film will see a collaboration unlike any with Vidya Balan, Sonakshi Sinha, Taapsee Pannu and others.

Also, Akshay and Karan will be collaborating for ‘Kesari’.
