A US dance company, known for their amazing aerial performances, recently held a show along the cliff of Tianmen Mountain in China. The “Dancing on clouds, flying across the sky” show was part of the opening day of Yuhu Peak, one of sixteen peaks in the Tianmen Mountain National Park in Hunan Province, China. The dance troupe called BANDALOOP are pioneers in vertical dance performances and have done several such shows in the past.
Their performances are part of the vision of the troupe’s founder, Amelia Rudolph. Her team has already performed at numerous theatres, museums and historical sites, along with skyscrapers and bridges. The group was founded in 1991, and performs to honour nature, community and the human spirit.
