The Australia "A" players have decided to pull out of the South Africa tour over the long-standing pay dispute with the Australian board.
The players union in a statement said,"players were not obliged and were unavailable to tour South Africa as a part of the Australia A team without an agreed pay deal or new Memorandum of Understanding."
The players union and Cricket Australia have been engaged in talks over several months but have failed to come up with a pay structure.
Around 230 players have been left unemployed after the contract expired on June 30th.
