Dara will replace Travis Kalanick who stepped down under investor pressure after a string of governance failures
Uber on Tuesday confirmed that Dara Khosrowshahi will take over as its new chief.
Dara Khosrowshahi is currently the chief executive of Expedia.
Uber's board chose him to replace its former embattled CEO and co-founder Travis Kalanick.
