The all-new Volvo V90 Cross Country launched in India

Time for adventurous car buyers in India to get their adventurous streak on, as Volvo has finally launched the V90 Cross Country in India. Volvo car took this opportunity to expand it's network by opening Scandia Motorcars at Mathura Road, New Delhi. The launch and the showroom inauguration was graced by the Bollywood actor and a Volvo fanatic, Mr. Randeep Hooda.

Talking about the car, the V90 is set to fulfill an increasingly important part of the discerning luxury car.  The heart of V90 comes with Robust engine which delivers 235 BHP and 480 Nm torque coupled with an 8- speed gearbox with paddle shifts.





The car is expected to further strengthen the product portfolio of Volvo, after the launch of S90. Mr. Tom von Bonddorff, Managing Director, Volvo Auto India, had a positive approach about the new car and it's dealership. “We are trying to eshtablish the brand more and more in India. We are establishing our dealer netwrok, we are putting funds in the marketing and trying to make people understand the brand. The V90 is of course a great addition to the portfolio this year”

The Cross Country comes with 4 types of drive modes - Eco, comfort, dynamic and off-road.

Known for its safety globally, Volvo hasn't disappointed this time either. The SUV comes with radar safety features which includes Adaptive cruise control, lane keeping - aid, blind-spot detection cross traffic alert and park pilot assist to name a few. The car is also fully equipped with interesting features. Some of the features to look out for are the panoramic sunroof, rain sensor, heads up display, front seat ventilation massage and surround system with 9 speakers among various others.

The Volvo V90 is expected to compete with the likes of BMW X3 and Audi Q3. One can own this swanky looking SUV at a price of RS INR 60 lakh (Ex-Showroom Delhi)
