Skoda Kodiaq SUV, Octavia RS, Rapid Monte Carlo to be unveiled in India

Czech car manufacturer, Skoda is all set to reveal its first seven seater SUV Kodiaq in India.The limited edition market is already on sale in the global market.
The car is named after the Kodiak bear found in Archipelago in Alaska.
The international launch of the car has five engine options which include two diesel and three petrol, and three transmission options, 6-speed manual, 6-speed DSG and 7-speed DGS Transmission.
The Indian launch is expected to come with 2.0-litre TDI diesel engine mated 7-speed DSG transmission. Kodiaq is built on Volkswagen's MQB platform.
Skoda is also relaunching Skoda Octavia RS in India that will be priced at 20 lakhs. Later the company is also expected to launch the Rapid Monte Carlo.
The cars will be manufactured in Maharashtra in the company's Aurangabad facility. The Kodiaq will compete with Ford Endeavour and Isuzu MU-X.
The company is accepting bookings for the car since May.
