WhatsApp rolls out its YouTube integration feature for iPhone users.

The Facebook-owned messaging application was planning to introduce the YouTube support feature for a long time.

The 'Picture-in-Picture' YouTube feature can be accessed after installing the latest WhatsApp version --v2.18.11-- on an iPhone.

The feature enables a user to view YouTube content in the chat interface without opening the YouTube app or a browser window.

Users will be able to play, pause or access YouTube content in fullscreen right from within the chat interface.

The YouTube video continues to play even when the chat is exited or if a person switches between multiple chats.

It must be noted that only those videos can be viewed which a user receives from other contacts on WhatsApp.

YouTube videos shared with others cannot be watched within WhatsApp's interface.

The feature was earlier made available to BETA users and is now accessible to iPhone users.

There is no information on when will the feature be rolled out on other operating systems.
